About us

Schoolhub.ai is a solution supported by Innovation Norway that offers access to artificial intelligence (AI) specifically designed for students and teachers in schools. The service is designed and developed with a focus on privacy and security. Students and teachers can have interactive conversations with AI through a variety of customized chatbots.

Who provides the service?

The service is provided by Midgard AI AS (org. num. 932739798), a startup that develops and delivers digital services for the education sector utilizing the power of artificial intelligence. We are currently working on new applications for AI in schools, and we welcome you to get in touch for a discussion, become a pilot school, or share your ideas and feedback.

Do you want your school to be a pilot school?

Please contact us if you are interested in having your school participate in a pilot. We will then work closely with the school to further develop and adapt the service based on user needs and ideas. Express your interest at contact@schoolhub.ai.

Guidelines for using the service

It is the teachers and the school that are responsible for ensuring that the guidelines are adhered to.

• Follow the school's guidelines for the use of AI.
• Personal or sensitive information should not be shared through the service.

Privacy

We are very committed to privacy, and in our privacy policy you can read about how we handle data. We have created a brief summary below with a special focus on how we maintain privacy with regard to the use of artificial intelligence.

• We use language models from ChatGPT from Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which processes the text that is submitted on its servers in Sweden.
• We do not store more personal information than we consider necessary.
• A user may potentially include personal information as part of the text when using the service. We do not store the text on our servers after use, but it is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI in Sweden.
• Microsoft Azure OpenAI caches texts for up to 30 days to prevent misuse of the service. These texts are not used for further training of the algorithm, and OpenAI does not have access to them.
• If you use voice-to-text, the audio is never sent to our servers, only directly to Microsoft in Sweden. They never store the audio and only process it encrypted in "memory" while the audio is being processed. It is deleted immediately after the text is generated.
